Year in Review - Ronnie

The allotment life isn't only benefitting us, because it's just behind the house we've had plenty of summer days and nights up there...bit of work here... sunbathe there... can of cold beer here... glorious flame grilled t-bone there... We've had a lot of laughs with lots of friends coming up... you wouldn't believe how many people are eager to come and sit on a half-tidy allotment, hear the noises, see the colours and enjoy the tranquility of a fine sunny day... and the boys do need their obligatory fire!! Above is Ronnie, holding Fraser in his hands. You find one old mirror on the plot and all of a sudden you're trying to take arty photographs!!


O.M.G.!! Yep, that is Ronnie doing a bit of work... oh, hold on, he's fetching an old pallet for the fire... that doesn't count!! ;.) (The hairy forearms belong to Bob... he just sunbathed and poked the fire all summer!)


The Ron triptych is completed in all action, impressionist style with his daredevil attempt to jump the bonfire... don't worry he succeeded, (and don't try this at home kids) just don't ask him about his jeans!! Ron's been a major help this year, assisting ably, as long as it doesn't involve strimming or digging... we're put in many an hour together on the lottie last year weeding, tidying, building compost heaps and the like and i'm guessing it'll be the same next year... roll on summer!!
